2023 Annual Ceremonial Review
1849 Orangeville Army Cadets held a Navigation Field Training Exercise the weekend of 28-30 April 2023, at the Dufferin County Forest – Main Tract, in Mansfield, Ontario.
As you can see, not even cold and wet conditions can keep these cadets down. Despite the challenging weather conditions, cadets were in high spirits and having a great time.
Shout out to MCpl Sword and MCpl C. MacNeil for putting together a great training plan and keeping everyone to some pretty tight timings. Another shout out to Sgt Donnelly for taking all of these great pics of our weekend, so shout out for that as well.
Day Hike
Great weather for a Spring hike at Hockley Valley Provincial Park and Nature Preserve. If it ain’t raining, we ain’t training!
This activity supports Army Cadet training through encouraging participation in adventure and fitness activities to meet personal fitness goals, good citizenship among the cadets and environmental stewardship.
